Elikatu had an online store developed on the prestashop platform.
They contacted us to update the website. They wanted new sections and features to appear on their website. For example, a section aimed at professionals (B2B) and another for other customers (B2C). Also change photos and move to the latest version of the Prestashop platform.
The old version and the new version of Prestashop were not compatible. Above all, because the prestashop had completely changed the way the platform was developed. Therefore, the old website did not work in the new prestashop.
To solve it, we entered to the Prestashop Database and adapted the database so that it would also work in the new version.
With these adaptations we achieve compatibility between both versions and no data loss.
